Raised on a Kansas farm, I’ve been a pastor in the Evangelical Free Church of America since 1976; at Faith Church in Indianapolis since 2004, stepping down from the Lead role in January 2017 into a part time shepherding role. Linda and I have been married since 1972 and have four children and eleven grandchildren. Studying at Friends University in Wichita (B.A. in Religion and Philosophy, 1973) was important preparation for seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Master of Divinity, 1976). Serving in pastoral ministry in Nebraska, Kansas and now Indiana, it is seeing lives changed by Jesus Christ that fuels my love to pastor and preach. In this season of life, I’m involved in home schooling my eldest grandson. I enjoy traveling with Linda to see family and friends. Seasonal biking on my 1974 Schwinn Continental is a favorite pastime.
